We’re looking for an Operator Recruiter to join our team and play a key role in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding skilled Plant Operators across the UK. If you’re proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced recruitment environment, this is your opportunity to make an impact.
What you’ll do
As an essential part of the Operator Recruitment Team, you'll:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment and induction process for new and existing plant operators
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external personnel
• Work closely with Operator Managers, Project Teams, and Site Management to ensure smooth communication and efficient deployment
• Implement effective workforce planning strategies to meet project demands
• Manage inbound and outbound calls to site personnel and clients
• Provide excellent customer service and manage client expectations
• Maintain accurate data entry and records using internal systems and apps
• Handle confidential information in line with GDPR and company policy
• Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively
• Support key accounts, HS2, and regional recruitment needs as required
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who brings passion, drive, and strong communication skills to the role. You’ll need to be confident in managing multiple priorities and comfortable working with high volumes.
• Independent, proactive, and able to take initiative
• Strong communicator across all channels (phone, email, in-person)
• Resilient under pressure with great attention to detail
• Results-driven and focused on achieving team targets
• Strong decision-maker with excellent time management skills
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and data entry systems
• Previous recruitment or document control experience is desirable
