People are at the heart of what we do. We’re looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our team and play a key role in identifying, attracting, and engaging skilled plant operators across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a proactive approach to recruitment and communication.
What you’ll do
As an essential part of the Recruitment team, you’ll:
• Generate potential plant operator leads through social media and recruitment campaigns
• Act as the first point of contact for operators, delivering excellent support and guidance
• Work closely with the training team to support operator development and onboarding
• Source new operators through databases, referrals, social media, and other recruitment channels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with operators to improve communication and retention
• Understand operator and customer requirements to help deliver the best service possible
• Maintain accurate operator records and manage data within company systems and apps
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls across multiple communication platforms
• Screen applications and make initial contact with candidates to assess suitability
• Request and compile statements relating to incidents or damages where required
• Support social media activity by posting and managing job adverts and recruitment content alongside the Marketing team
• Ensure a consistent flow of operator inductions for major projects and operational requirements
• Work closely with the training department to ensure internal processes are followed correctly
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is confident, organised, and passionate about delivering a great recruitment experience.
• Personable, approachable, and confident with excellent people skills
• Strong telephone manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective administration, planning, and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Previous experience within the hire or construction industry is preferred but not essential
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with commercial awareness
• Good IT and computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
• Positive “Can Do” attitude with a proactive mindset
